All the energy acquired by the Soria City Council for each of its 247 supply points comes from 100% renewable sources.
This initiative contributes to the decarbonisation of Soria's economy, helping to reduce carbon emissions from one of its main sources.
As specified in the tender, 100% of the electricity purchased for the 247 municipally-owned supply points must come from renewable energy sources.
The distribution of energy sources is as follows:
- Biomass 14%
- Wind energy 69%
- Hydraulic energy 16%
- Photovoltaic solar energy 1%
