The aim of this initiative is to modernise the city's public lighting, with a focus on energy efficiency and emissions reduction. In turn, this will allow the district to substantially improve the quality of street lighting, boost energy savings, and reduce carbon emissions.
The actions to be carried out include replacing street lights with LED lamps, while trying to preserve the vintage aesthetics of old colonial street lights, keeping their original structures when possible. We will incorporate 2,200ºK LED technology with a remote management system to optimise efficiency.
The goal of this initiative is to replace 386 street lights at the following locations: the Town Square, the City Hall, Betetas Street, Económica Street, Los Mirandas Steet, Postas Street, Plaza del Rosel 1 and San Juan Street.
